Help your child establish a happy and long-lasting relationship with their dentist by taking them to the dentist when their first tooth erupts.
Early childhood caries (ECC) is a major health concern that affects many children and infants in Canada and the United States. The Oral Health Group cites that dental caries are “five times more common than asthma and seven times more common than hay fever.”
As a result, a child’s first visit to the dentist is usually very unpleasant and often leaves a lasting impression of discomfort.
At the Dental Care Centre, we try to avoid these distasteful encounters by encouraging parents to bring their children along with them. Our office is very family oriented with lots of coloring books, magazines, movies, and even toys.
Dr. Kiepas enjoys working with infants and young children and often sees them before their parents. It is our utmost pleasure to accommodate your family’s needs and provide a positive, unforgettable experience each time.
Effective prevention is less expensive and more enjoyable than treatment
Effective prevention is one of our many core values at the Dental Care Centre.
We communicate with our patients to gain an appreciation of their habits, hobbies, and lifestyle. This allows us to involve you in the diagnostic process and help prevent cavities, carious lesions, and other periodontal diseases from forming.
We strive to educate our patients so that they understand the intricacies of dental treatment and learn effective ways to hinder ill oral health.
By learning more about you as a person, we are able to tailor our dental care to your specific needs and wants.
